Hi everyone,

We have had to re-do this post due to the video being backwards. Hopefully this has worked. If not we have attached a picture of the back of the flashcard! Sorry about that and thank you to parents who have noticed! I have also attached some links as parents have been asking about where to find online reading books. Mrs Hobson has also done a video for using Oxford Owl.

Reading book and games links: https://home.oxfordowl.co.uk/reading/free-ebooks/  https://www.booktrust.org.uk/books-and-reading/have-some-fun/storybooks-and-games/  https://www.barnesandnoble.com/b/free-ebooks/nook-books/kids/_/N-ry0Z8qaZtu1  https://www.storylineonline.net/  https://literacytrust.org.uk/  https://www.education.com/games/reading/  https://pbskids.org/games/reading/

Phonics session:
A new sound today 'w'. Follow the 3 video's in order.
Then you could have a go at the 'I spy with my little eye' sheet either on your screen or print if off if you are able too.
You can say the following:

I spy with my little something beginning with ' w '
I spy with my little eye something beginning with ' v'

Are there any objects that do not begin with ' w'? Can you explain to your adult why?
