We widen and enrich the curriculum by taking the children on residentials. They allow children to take part in activities that we would not be able to offer in school. Residentials make a major contribution to the acquisition of knowledge and development of key skills. Adventure activity and sports skills can form the foundation of life-long interests, as well as address issues with health and obesity.
School resources are however limited and we need to raise sufficient funds to enable these visits to go ahead. For this reason, all parents and carers are asked to make a voluntary contribution towards the cost.
If any parents or carers are unable to meet the cost of activities, we will try to find ways to assist where we can.
