Welcome to Year 6

Welcome to a new school year. There are many really exciting things happening this year, in Year 6. Please check back here often, as we will look to add photos, information and news.  

The Year 6 team

          This term we are going on a journey to Tudor times.

This term Year 6 will be looking at Tudor Britain. We will start the topic by looking at the Battle of Bosworth Field in 1485. We will also look at: the various Tudor monarchs, medicine, the roles of rich and poor in Tudor society, religion and Henry VIII and also Tudor exploration. We think this will be a fun and exciting journey to open our year with, it's the first time we've taught it in school!
