Out of School Club

Sharp Lane Out of School Club is for children aged 4 to 11 years of age. The club is based in the grounds of Sharp Lane Primary School, and offers care for up to 35 children between 07.30 to 08.50 and 15.10 to 18.00 Monday to Thursday and 14.00 to 18.00 on a Friday.

In 2017/18 we are looking to extend this facility to include a holiday scheme which will run from 07.30 to 18.00 in the school holidays.

We offer the children a well planned range of safe, creative and positive play opportunities, while also offering children the opportunity to define their play. Activities include, modelling, drawing, painting, textiles, music, reading, computers, cooking, games, watching television, celebrating special events, spending time with friends and many outdoor activities. Sharp Lane Out of School Club is a place for children to play and enjoy their free-time in safety and comfort.

A healthy breakfast is provided for all children attending the Club. All children attending the After School Club will be offered a choice of healthy snacks.

If you are considering us for your childcare needs, please feel free to discuss your child’s needs with Mrs Heighton. She will be happy to explain all our policies and procedures, fee structures, activity programmes and any general enquiries.

We are currently full in Out of School Club, please see Mrs Heighton if you want to be placed on the waiting list.
